The gadgets started play the role of our silent friends, waiting for us to get those twenty minutes to spare to play a game, send an e-mail, read the news or simply talk on the phone. iOS devices, there is no secret are a big part of the gadget world and as such, they deserve our attention even a little bit more with their advantages and disadvantages. For those of us that want to use Apple devices and yet there is room for that something extra, we come with the answer: jailbreaking.
Performing this procedure, your iOS device will not only be able to perform tasks that are factory locked, but you will be able to customize lots of aspects of your iOS version and add that personal touch to a device that certainly is sold in millions to a multitude of other customers. You will then be able to place shortcuts on your lockscreen, add slides to instantly open apps, add new gestures to your touchscreen interface, or simply add shortcuts in your notification center. Not to mention the ability to install other apps that have been banned form Apple’s App Store, or apps present in the App Store for a substantial amount of cash, but for free.
You must not imagine that everything is for free, no, there are certain apps and tweaks that you will have to pay for, but what are a few bucks after all considering the amounts that you save if you install free apps and free tweaks? Some will say that you’ll actually be better paying for those few that are not free of charge.
You should know as well that those new changes and options that will be available do not simply appear on your iOS device; they are made available through a third party app platform. Whatever will be your choice in that aspect, the most commonly used third party app platform is Cydia, and as such we will be concentrating our efforts on this aspect that will not only make your use of Apple device a lot more easier, but a lot cheaper as well.
